van a descomprimir el archivo y si tienen las dependencias instaladas no habrá problema… sino instalenlas (mi suferencia es instalarlo desde un gestor de paquetes)

ahora… vamos a hacer una pseudo instalación: desde la consola entren a la carpeta de mplayer:

después:

./configure

si todo sale bien les dara un grato mensaje como:

‘make’ will now compile MPlayer and ‘make install’ will install it.

Note: On non-Linux systems you might need to use ‘gmake’ instead of ‘make’.

Please check mtrr settings at /proc/mtrr (see DOCS/HTML/en/video.html#mtrr)

development headers/packages are installed).

NOTE: The –enable-* parameters unconditionally force options on, completely

skipping autodetection. This behavior is unlike what you may be used to from

turn on internal features) and experience a compilation or linking failure,

ahora es la parte Fácil:

entran como Root:

$ su

$ make

cuando termine el MAKE entonces ya lo que necesitamos está hecho..

de nuevo en la consola tenemos que copiar el archivo mencoder a /usr/bin

$ cp mencoder /usr/bin

y bueno, ahora si podremos convertir video, aquí les dejo unos 3 formas de convertir:

AÑADIR SUBS

PARA INCRUSTAR SUBTÍTULO A UN AVI Y OBTENER UN MPEG PARA DVD:

mencoder [Video_Entrada] -ovc copy -vf scale=[ResX]:[ResY] -o [Video_Salida]

uso ubuntu 8.04 – en una maquina x86:

bien, para empezar, necesitas instalar: ubuntu-restricted-extras, esto lo puedes hacer desde el synaptic o desde linea de comando

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
este paquete al parecer no es necesario para la visualizacion de archivos RMVB puesto que no lo tengo instalado y aún así puedo ver los videos.

después me instalé el Mplayer y el SMplayer, se puede entrar desde el synaptic o desde linea de comandos

sudo apt-get install mplayer smplayer

después de la instalación de esto, me bajé los Binary Codec Packages pueden descargar dependiendo la versión que usen, normalmente en el CD de instalación dice para que tio de arquitectura es, normalmente y la que ocupe yo es la que tiene X86

despues descomprimi el archivo, cree una carpeta y copie ahí los archivos:

tar xjvf essential-20071007.tar.bz2
sudo mkdir /usr/lib/codecs
sudo cp essential-20071007/* /usr/lib/codecs

para este punto debe de mostrarte los videos, sino, tienes que instalar este paquete:

sudo apt-get install libstdc++5
